BTEB Certified Program

BTEB Certified Diploma in Engineering Course:

  • SSC or Equivalent from any group (Science, Arts & Commerce) with GPA 2 / 2nd Division

Diploma in Medical Technology & HSC Program (Business Management):

  • Candidates must have SSC passed from any Board (Science, Arts, Business Studies, Vocational, Dakhil /Dakhil Vocational)/Open University can apply
  • Student’s age and passing year can be considerable

National university Certified Program

B.Sc. (Hons.) in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) :

  • S.S.C. and H.S.C. or Alim or Equivalents with CGPA 2.50 or higher
  • Science background with Physics & Mathematics having GPA 3.00 or higher(for CSE) & Must have minimum GPA 3.00 in Math/Accounting/Economics in HSC
  • Must have minimum GPA 2.00 in English
  • Should be passed H.S.C. or Equivalent

Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA):

  • S.S.C. and H.S.C. or, Alim or, Diploma in Commerce / Business Administration or, Equivalents with CGPA 2.50 or higher
  • Must have minimum GPA 3.00 in Math/Accounting/Economics in HSC
  • Must have minimum GPA 2.00 in English
  • Should be passed H.S.C. or Equivalent

Academic RULES & Regulations

  • Haji abul Hossain Institute of Technology (HABHIT) is strictly a non-smoking zone and consumption of any category of tobacco etc. is strictly prohibited. Violation of code of conduct would invite serious administrative measures and even suspension
  • Mobiles must be switched off inside the academic block, administrative block and library. If a mobile rings inside these blocks then penalty shall be imposed on the student
  • All students must attend the institute as well as all institute functions in prescribed institute uniform. Students shall not be allowed to attend classes without proper uniform
  • Students must reach institute at scheduled time and all the students are expected to wear their I-cards inside the campus
  • All students are expected to be inside the classroom before the faculty member enters the class. Students shall not be allowed to attend a class if he/she is late
  • All students must obtain minimum 80% attendance in theory as well as in practical classes in each subject to be eligible for internal as well as semester final examinations. Any students who fail to obtain the minimum attendance shall be debarred from internal and semester examinations
  • Any misconduct or misbehavior in the Institute campus/Hostel or outside shall be viewed seriously and liable to be penalized
  • Students shall have to abide by the rules and regulations enforced from time to time by the Institute
  • If after enrolment in the institute a student does not attend classes without leave for more than seven days his/her name shall be struck off from the Institute rolls
  • It is mandatory for students to clear all their dues before examinations, failing which the student shall be debarred from the examinations
  • Students are expected to follow all the rules and regulations of the library
  • Ragging or any act that causes mental and physical harassment to another student will invite penal action/penalty and the offender is likely to be expelled from the institute
